Admission includes a free audio handset which is sanitised after every use.  For group prices please visit the Groups page, or call 01353 662062.  We also operate a Residents Scheme, please enquire for more information

 

Summer Hours:

1st April to 31st October -

10 am to 5 pm daily including Bank Holidays. 

 

Winter Hours:

1st November to 31st March - 11 am to 4 pm daily. 

 

Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Last admission to the House is 45 mins - one hour before closing. 

 

Please note that on occasions, due to large group visits, there may be delays to public admissions and in exceptional circumstances, Oliver Cromwell's House may be closed.  Please contact us in advance if you have any concerns.

By Car

Oliver Cromwell’s House, Ely is only 12 miles from Cambridge and is accessible via the A10 or A14. Unfortunately Oliver Cromwell’s House has no parking facilities. Ely has a variety of free long stay and short stay car parks.  Please click here for detailed map.

 

By Rail

Ely boasts direct connections to London King's Cross, Norwich, Cambridge, the Midlands and Stansted Airport. Upon arrival it is then only a 15 minute walk to Oliver Cromwell’s House.

By Bus

Stagecoach offers a network of frequent and reliable buses, which provide excellent access to all parts of Ely with bus stops within walking distance of Oliver Cromwell’s House.

The area is best served by Stansted airport but Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and East Midlands are all within reach by road and rail. Nearby Cambridge also has its own airport.
